Born and bred in Kelty, Michelle graduated from the University of Dundee in 2009 completing her Diploma in Legal Practice at the same University in 2012. Following 5 years living in Bergen, Norway, Michelle trained with a local Firm and joined Ross & Connel in July 2024 as a solicitor in our Family Law and Court Services team before being assumed Partner in April 2025.

Michelle deals will all aspects of family law, including separation, divorce, contact, adoption and residence cases. She also deals with guardianship applications, evictions and debt recovery. Michelle is frequently appointed by the courts to act as Safeguarder and Reporter in both Child and Mental Health cases.

Michelle is also a Notary Public and member of the Family Law Association.
